One of the most popular resources of the Paphos, Cyprus, UKCA is the extremely well run and well stocked Library of approximately 4,000 books, 1,000 videos, 2,000 DVD's, 140 jigsaws and 100 audio books.
An up to date list of all our Video & DVD stock can be obtained from Eddie Bourne , priced at 20 Cents.
There is a useful reference section and a children's video and book corner.
The Library is attractively laid out with modern shelving and furniture. The various sections are clearly labelled and there is an up to date index system available to Members.
Membership of the Library is only open to current UKCA Members for a small fee.
Although the Library relies heavily on the donation of books, videos, DVD's, jigsaws and audio books, new books, videos and DVD's are also bought on a regular basis from the Moufflon Bookshop and through the internet from Amazon.com.
The Paphos Library is run by a team of eight staff and three or four well trained backup staff under the leadership of Mrs. Jan. Metcalfe.
The Paphos UKCA is extremely proud of its Library, which is considered to be a big asset and a major attraction to new British expatriate Club Members.
